Touch doesn't work after flash

Hi all, I bought the ESP32 indicated in project 2432S028R. With its firmware, the touchscreen works perfectly. With the aquarium instead (which correctly displays the fish) it is not possible to enter the settings menu. Can someone help me? Thank you all

That's weird. The touch area is in the upper left corner. Make sure you're using the stylus and not trying to use your finger since that won't trigger the resistive touch on the screen.

Are you getting any response from the touch? Dropping food? Which build did you install - did you try the CYD2USB build?

Only the first option works well (without touch). Others have wrong colors or other issues

No. I've done some tests with Gemini by modifying the sketch. The touchscreen works on Arduino ide monitor, but I still can't see the control panel by clicking on the top left. The sketch with the wrong colors (the second one) gives the same result. If I use the firmware provided by the manufacturer, it works perfectly.

It must be a different variant of the board or something. That's really bizarre.

I agree with you. The only reason could be a different communication between the board and the display. Perhaps the aquarium code uses pins that aren't compatible with this version. However, I bought the board listed on the github, so I don't understand what's causing the problem.

Yeah, this is a weird one. I looked at the pict at the top of this thread and compared it to my boards and they look identical. Do you still have the packaging? The link you sent me is the same one I bought the board from. I think it's halfway between the one with a micro USB and the one with micro USB and USB-C (2 USB). It's probably not just the connection that's different, but also the management of the pins that control the display and touchscreen. The only thing I regret is that I can't play with the desktop aquarium!
