The current SNODAS Tool stores snow rasters as tiff and the AOI geometries as records in PostgreSQL. Is there a way to remove PostgreSQL dependency? Jake is considering Zarr for rasters. What is the alternative to store vector geometries? The current vector geometries are derived from desktop GIS (BAGIS Pro) in geojson format.

The snodas raster data are at D:\projects\gisdata\snodas on the server. All raster data are in tiff format with the WGS 1984 geographic coordinate system (WKID: 4326).

The rasterdb\aoi-rasters folder contains individual tiff of AOI polygons rasterized to the cell size of the snodas source file.
The snodas cell average elevation data are stored in the dem.tif file in the rasterdb folder.
The rasterdb\cogs folder stores all the daily snodas data, including 8 variables:

• SWE (1034)
• Snow Depth (1036)
• Snow Melt Runoff (1044)
• Sublimation from snow pack (1050)
• Sublimation of blowing snow (1039)
• Solid precipitation (1025IL01)
• Liquid precipitation (1025IL00)
• Average temperature (1038)
