Build on MacOs with gcc compiler

Is it possible to build the source from the chapter on a MacOs using gcc?

Im not the author but, it doesn't look possible for now, Let's look at the thread utils.h:

  inline auto setThreadCore(int core_id) noexcept {
    cpu_set_t cpuset;

    CPU_ZERO(&cpuset);
    CPU_SET(core_id, &cpuset);

    return (pthread_setaffinity_np(pthread_self(), sizeof(cpu_set_t), &cpuset) == 0);
  }

in macOS, you cannot directly use the cpu_set_t structure.
these are used in linux to specify which CPUs a program can use, but macos has different ways of handling this and does not support these specific functions natively.
