Project dead?

Since the start of the project PartDB I'm using it and was always a fan of it, but it looks like the project is dead, or did I misinterpret something?
Currently I'm using the old version of PartDB, I always wanted to upgrade but I sadly I never managed to get the symfony version to run.

I'm pretty sure it's dead. New issues aren't getting any attention, PRs are going unreviewed. Time to migrate, I'm afraid.

Can you recommend another webhosted alternative? Until now I only found programs but nothing web based.

I wish I could. I don't know of one that's even vaguely recent. I'm going to be migrating to a wiki page, myself.

Maybe just a few words to the project status:

In principle, I want to continue development of Part-DB, but in the last months I was pretty busy with university and other projects, so I did not do much to Part-DB development.

I fixed some security related things in the legacy Part-DB version, and started to migrate the UI frontend transition code (which where formerly written by myself and which has some quirks) to a much better library (see turbo branch), but did not have the time to finish that.

I hope I will find some time to work on Part-DB again in a few weeks, but then I will most likely concentrate on the Part-DB-symfony version, as working with that codebase is much more pleasant and more efficient.

What was the problem, why you were not able to install the symfony version?

How does your .env.local looks like?
Have you installed php-sqlite (with apt install php-sqlite)?
It seems like doctrine can not find a driver to access the database.

Ok, php-sqlite3 was missing, now the command worked, but i still get the error:

Oops! An Error Occurred
The server returned a "500 Internal Server Error".
Something is broken. Please let us know what you were doing when this error occurred. We will fix it as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

You should look into your var/log/prod.log file in the Part-DB folder, if you can find any more detailed error messages.
