How to overlap only with first day of range #250

Good day,
I am trying to create something like a vacation calendar and I have problem with overlaping. I need to create overlaping only on first and last day of selected range.
Person select range 4.5 - 10.5 and I nned to allow other peaple to set range from x-4.5 /10.5-x
Do you know how to do it??
