Need some info on xrootd-globus

I see slide title: "Vision: Re-exporting Globus into the WLCG ecosystem"

We are interested to try this . Any guidelines available ? (couldn't find it in readme)

Hey, I am the developer responsible for the Globus integration. Right now, the project isn't quite done, as it is waiting on this PR to make it possible to configure a Globus backend for a Pelican origin. Once that is merged, I will be updating docs to include guides on how to set everything up.

@whwjiang - instead of waiting on the merge, can we just post a test build for @panta-123 ? We can call it a "sneak peek" or something since I bet Anil want's to just kick the tires, not rush it to production.

Anil, are you planning on doing something like FTS transfers? It should have most of the ingredients needed for TPC, for example -- but that's not been @whwjiang 's target. Would love to hear if you stumble across something that's not supported.

Yes, no rushing to production, but start testing it .
And Yes I am planning to do something like FTS transfers . Test with Globus at NERSC .
