however i do need the libil2cpp.so and the global-metadata.dat so i can test it for myself and see if its a problem with your app or the game youre trying to hack

hey i managed to get my hands on an apk of the game. might not be the latest version out there.
however i was able to dump it without issues.
could you tell me what app you're using instead of il2cppdumper?
btw the error you got is telling you that you might have chosen the wrong global-metadata.dat
i had this problem before but only when i made the mistake of switching the order of the arguments
