Placeholders for quest stages not working

What does your feature do?

the use of PlaceholderAPI or any way to reference players name in quest stages and in quest questions to start and finish

How would people use it?

as seen in the picture, it would be used when asking the player if they would like to start the quest, and inside of stages in complete and start stage options

So using your example quest from #2335 it seems placeholders are already supported? You might have been confused by how it appears in the editor, but if it still isn't working try updating PAPI and both extensions.

this is what im getting when right clicking on an npc to start a quest, the npc then asks the question and the answer yes/no pop up, its this part that doesnt support placeholders for me

and these are the plugin versions, im on the right versions at least right? just to make sure im not being a complete dumbass

i also updated to the spigot version of papi quests as instructed by moderator to see if that was the problem but it still isnt working :/

I'm re-opening this, but am not sure of what the cause might be. Just tried on a 1.18.2 server, works fine. Here's hoping someone else can come up with an idea.
