Hello,
I am working with traced ultrasound and trying to calculate the probeToImage calibration matrix using the fCal software. However, I have seen in the Plus documentation that image orientation is a source of error and that the ultrasound image should be oriented in the MF orientation (marked side of the image at the right and far side of the image at the bottom). When I use a Plus server to acquire the image in Slicer, I have no problem displaying the ultrasound in any orientation (MF, UF, MN or UN) but in fCal I have observed errors related to image orientation.
For example, using any image orientation I get a warning (|WARNING|883.101000| Unable to read image orientation from configuration file (Rendering tag, DisplayedImageOrientation attribute). Set by MF.| in E:\PSNPb\PlusApp\fCal\vtkPlusImageVisualizer.cxx(712)) but the image is still displayed.
However, using the "MF" image orientation (which is the same as the image displayed on the ultrasound monitor), I get no image in fCal.
Is this a known problem and is there a solution to display the image with PortUsImageOrientation="MF" in fCal?
Attached is my fCal configuration file and I am using Plus Applications 2.8.0.2019-11-05 (Win32) because I am using the Ascension3DG tracking system.
