Install Forge

Forge up to 1.13.2 are working correctly since commit a33dcfa which did a lot of changes around inheritsFrom behavior, meaning an unreleased build.
Forge 1.14+ are working since commit a666178 which applies -Dfml.earlyprogresswindow=false as default hidden argument.

Notes

Links are embedded on the light blue text.
You need a GitHub account to download dev builds, otherwise it will become error 404.

Preparing and setup

Update to the Forge working dev build: here.
Now, open the launcher, navigate to Options -> Launch mod installer.
Pick the downloaded Forge installer.
Once install done, it will show Install successful message.
Back to version selector, swipe all the way down to the bottom, and Forge will be there.
Select Forge version and launch.

Known issues

Window size is incorrect leads to wrong mouse position on some versions.
