Request to contribute/collaborate on gen9 Mega sprites

Hi! First of all - sorry if this isn't the appropriate way to raise this.
I'm not the most technical person and this seemed like the best way to contact.

I was using this grids.fun and discovered they don't have the new megas, so long story short I discovered it all links to this API.

I read your CONTRIBUTING_SPRITES.md, and couldn't see a section about contributing, it seems its set up to only take sprites from Smogon.

I'm in the smogon sprite project server, and I think it might be a long time until they complete them all, so I wondered if there was an option for myself to contribute directly? You can see my work attached;

A few points of contention, while I do try make them fit in gen5 style, I don't strictly adhere to the 96x96 size limit, so if that's an issue then some of my sprites would not comply. I also don't technically follow their strict 16 color limit... I'm happy to do the work to try make them fit if that's an absolute requirement!

While I'm here - slightly unrelated, I'm guessing there aren't currently back sprites for all gen 9 either? That is also something I can provide! (and shinies too of course)

Hi, thanks for the kind offer! We have an agreement with Smogon to use their sprites so we would like to stick with "their" style. That said if you think it's going to be a long wait we could check some sprites that are both in Smogon's collection and in your's and see how much they differ.

If yours are good we can integrate them in this repo and have a link to the original sprinter (you I guess) in the readme.

Is it ok? If so you could post some side to side examples of gen9 sprites

Ah okay, I wasn't aware of the agreement, since it says all of the front_default sprites for gen 9 aren't from smogon and were contributed by KingOfThe-X-Roads.
Gen9 released in 2022 and as of today in their spreadsheet They are missing 15 fronts, and have no backs listed (all excluding megas) so I don't know how long it might be until they complete them all. The way their project works they have a range of artists who reserve pokemon and there are no deadlines or targets so its an open window of time (Not that I'm criticising, its a hobby after all!).

I might have complicated things a bit by bringing up the non-megas. Maybe it'd be easier to review just the megas to begin with? Since it's much smaller scope and you already have front_default sprites for all gen 9, and I dont want to step on anyone's toes!
I will definitely need to make some size adjustments then, which is fine! Unfortunately I'm about to head off on vacation for 2 weeks.

Out of 48 new megas, 23 of mine are within the size limits. Would you rather wait til the entire batch is ready to review or is that something that could be done in multiple batches? Attached below are the ones that are within size limits

Since replying, I've now amended the following 7 to also be within size limits. bringing total to 30/48 ready to review. I'm confident if I have a week or so I could probably get all of them compliant 🙇
