Skeletons bleed and have human damaged sprites.

• May simply be an issue with damage sprites, or it could be an issue with blood itself. I dunno how this works.

This has something to do with damage overlays that are applied to human mobs. I'm unsure if there's an easy fix.

Changing the blood color of the skeleton species would at least allow you to have a gray/white-ish overlay, instead of red, but I don't think it's terribly feasible to reliably change damage overlay sprites when species is changed at this time.

what are these skeletons being used for? If they're going to be skeletal all the time, couldn't you make them a 'species' with their own unique damage overlays? Would this be easier than attempting to change damage overlays for humans?

Oh species do have a damage_overlay var. Yeah, do a completely separate damage overlay, whomever wants to fix this.
