How to disable AI dubbing and video title translating?

I can't find any A/B options for it.

Both are infuriating, especially the braindead useless dubbing, which one has to go and switch to a random different language first, only then it will allow you to switch back to original. Plus video title translations misrepresent the language the original video was in and they also usually just suck and are wrong...

Now there's a plague of YT expanding the rollout of these two where it's hard to stand it.

i have managed to fix this issue by trying a bunch of A/B options out. trial and error for half an hour. I ended up breaking video downloading tho. unfortunately i dont know which toggle i pressed :(

Flip these to 0:

Stop MLA track picking (Shorts + player UI)
• YTColdConfig.shortsConsumptionClientGlobalConfigEnableMultiAudioTrackPicker: 0
• YTColdConfig.enableEntityBasedInlineAudioAndSubtitleControlButtons: 0 (prevents inline buttons from nudging track changes)
• YTColdConfig.useFilledAudioForInlineOverlay: 0 (removes the little inline audio toggle that can auto-pick)

Make sure captions don’t auto-translate (sometimes triggers audio/locale reselect)
• YTColdConfig.iosPlayerClientSharedConfigEnableCaptionsAutoTranslationIosClient: 0
• YTColdConfig.iosClientGlobalConfigEnableCaptionsAutoTranslationIosClient: 0 (already 0 in your dump)

(Optional) If you also see language switching from voice/geo heuristics
• YTColdConfig.vozIosAllowLanguageGeoOverride: 0 (VOZ = voice search; prevents geo-based language overrides from bleeding into playback state)

FYI you already have:
• YTColdConfig.clientInfraClientConfigEnableAudioTrackSheetWithXplatPlayerAdapter: 0
That only hides the Audio track picker; it doesn’t stop auto-selection. The switches above do.

Turning off VP9 codec under Video Quality preferences fixed this issue for me.

Settings > Video Quality Preferences > Toggle off VP9 codec

Found it for dubbing! I’m currently using uYouEnhanced built in July using 19.20.2 ipa if that makes a difference

It disables the automatic dubbing when clicking on a video for me, not the entire video dubbing.
