Here are my findings

The lead time on this is at least 2 months and thats if everything is sent off today
The colours are limited to 6 per deck so this means I'll have to redesign the hogs to be within a 6 colour scheme.

Bicycle logo costs

To use the Bicycle Logo on our work - $3.03 per deck (extra expensive for just the name - leave this decision up to the magicians of the company and if they care)
2500 at (2.76+3.03=5.79) = $14,475

Smooth finish = $0.16 per deck (think we should go for this)
2500 at $2.92= $7300

Thoughts

I think this would be a great way to make merch that is good for both sending to users/customers/key people as well as for general merch store. Just a long time to wait

Hm yeah these will be really nice, but a) it's very expensive and b) we definitely don't need 2500 packs! Unless we want to do some sort of zany campaign where we send these out to thousands of customers. But I think it's a bit much? @joethreepwood what do you reckon?

I think we can spend $2500 in a better way than playing cards. Not really a fan of them as a merch item as, generally, I think these are going to get 10 seconds of 'Oh, that's cool' and then go in a drawer never to be seen again.

Merch needs to either have a big wow factor (puppet, lawnmower, book) or be very regularly visible (t-shirt, keycaps, hoodies) in my opinion as the goal is to generate word of mouth with it.
