Steps to reproduce

1. Open Visual Studio Code.
2. Open the terminal within Visual Studio Code.
3. Attempt to paste content into the terminal using Ctrl+v.

Expected behavior

The content should be pasted into the terminal without any errors.

Actual behavior

An exception is thrown, preventing the content from being pasted successfully.
