Unacceptable Behavior

When reporting a violation, please include:

  1. Description of the incident
  2. Date and time of the incident
  3. Location (GitHub, Discord, email, etc.)
  4. Names of people involved (if known)
  5. Any relevant screenshots or evidence
  6. Your contact information for follow-up

Enforcement Process

  1. Initial Response: We will acknowledge receipt within 24 hours
  2. Investigation: We will investigate the report confidentially
  3. Resolution: We will take appropriate action based on our findings
  4. Follow-up: We will follow up with all parties involved

Enforcement Guidelines

1. Correction

Community Impact: Use of inappropriate language or unprofessional behavior.

Consequence: A private, written warning providing clarity around the violation and explanation of why the behavior was inappropriate. A public apology may be requested.

2. Warning

Community Impact: A violation through a single incident or series of actions.

Consequence: A warning with consequences for continued behavior. No interaction with the people involved for a specified period of time. Violating these terms may lead to a temporary or permanent ban.

3. Temporary Ban

Community Impact: A serious violation of professional standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior.

Consequence: A temporary ban from any interaction or public communication with the community for a specified period of time. Violating these terms may lead to a permanent ban.

4. Permanent Ban

Community Impact: Demonstrating a pattern of violation of professional standards, including sustained inappropriate behavior or harassment.

Consequence: A permanent ban from any public interaction within the community.
