It would be so great if any open source app could provide a widget like this that really contains what's needed in a way so the User ia informed what will happen during the day.

Temperature Graph, amount of rain per hour, clouds maybe wind.

Yes but important it's beautiful & in same style as the app UI.
Do you want it as see-through or solid colour/ (dynamic) image in background?

I think if beautifully done solid with a bit transparency possible is the way to to go. Its important that the data is easily visible.
