ps_edition_basic - Infinite page loading after updating to 8.2.4

Describe the bug and add attachments

After updating from 8.2.3 to 8.2.4, reloading the back office, and logging in, I am taken to the back office home page. When I try to go to other pages, they load indefinitely. The Front Office also takes an infinite amount of time to load.
When I activate debug mode, I see that a URL continues to load indefinitely and refers to the ps_edition_basic module.

I disabled the module in the database, then cleared the cache via FTP, and now I no longer have the infinite loading issue. But the back office has reverted to the old PrestaShop style.

Steps to reproduce

1. Update from version 8.2.3 to version 8.2.4 using Update Assistant.
2. Reload the page after the update and log in.
3. Note that the page loads indefinitely.

Expected behavior

Normal loading, ability to use my site

In the case, it was not the real address, i change the admin folder and domaine before.
But it was in the recording vidéo.

Okay, thank you, I'll contact them.
For the Admin folder, I hadn't put the Xs in place, but the characters that were there weren't the real ones; I had changed them.

Thank you for your reporting,

Many issue are linked to ps_edition_basic,
Some of them can be avoided with some point :

First tip : Update your module ps_edition_basic module before all, many pain point are resolved on the last version.
Second tip : Your module seems to be disabled when you update, do you enable the update option "Deactivate non-native modules" ? If you disabled it, ps_edition_basic is still there at the end of the update
Third tip : If you have already done your update, you can enable the module on module manager

Can you try some of them and say us if it works better for you ?

Last information, if you want to upgrade to v9 after this update, we have pain points on ps_edition_basic, as you can see here : #1631
