Generate static site #22

Hi Caffeinateoften, Funny you should ask, as it was actually main driver behind wanting to dual license the principles (CC and GPL) in the first place. So these sort of options can exist in a code bases and elsewhere. It's not on my immediate roadmap as I'm looking to add better functionality to the website (https://principles.dev) first. But I'm open to ideas and it's worth capturing them here. However I expect these solutions are best offered from the community and I can help make it easier. It could be a simple plugin over the top of https://storybook.js.org/ . Or a simple static site generation with the principles.dev design language. Or a way to download from the website. Whatever option was chosen it would need to respect the principle authors' specific license agreements and should attribute back to the relevant link. |

Really like that this promotes emergent behavior and can be a foundation of generative cultures.
Out of curiosity, would you consider offering self-hosted options of the website that renders these, for people who want to host their own but cannot rely on 3rd party backing integrations/APIs?
e.g.
npx principles --pathToInputMdFiles="./principles/*.md" --siteOutputDir="./dist"Completely understand if that is not on your personal roadmap!
Regards,
