What's new in this version?

1. You define you own custom units and use them just like normal ones.
2. New time units for week (w), year (y), etc.
3. New aliases for US engineering units (lbm, lb_m, lb_f, kipm, kip_m, kip_f). "Kip" now becomes a force units (not mass), which is more widely used.

Unit definition is very similar to variable definition, but you have to put a with a dot "." before the name:

.name = expression

For example:

.ktf = 1000tf' - kilo-ton-force
.Mtf = 1000ktf' - Mega-ton-force
M = 0.2m*2Mtf|ktf*m

If you need to make your unit definitions invisible, just enclose them with #hide - #show .

On the right side, you can put any expression with units, or just a number in case you need to define dimensionless units like money, information (bit, byte...), etc. For example:

.bit = 1
.byte = 8bit
.KiB = 1024byte
.MiB = 1024KiB
20MiB|byte

'Currency
.€ = 1' - Euro (EUR)
.£ = 1.13€' - Pound (GBP)
'Unit Price -'p = 20£/kg
'Quantity -'Q = 2.5t
'Total price -'P = Q*p|£
'In Euros -'P|€

You can use unit definitions to create aliases of existing units and use them instead of the original ones, for example:

.lbs = lbf'- plural for pound-force
.kips = kip'- plural for kilo-pound-force
P = 1000lbs
d = 10ft
M = P*d|kips*ft

To be honest, these US units are driving me nuts. ;)
