The frame example looks very good! I'm not actively using Calcpad, so I won't be testing it yet. But maybe soon. |

Looking forward to test this version, once I have some time to spend. The frame example looks awesome as well! I have tested it a bit with some 'older' Calcpad sheets and encountered a regression where the following input: Expected outcome: 1.99 However, this results in the following error: Inconsistent units: "unitless - %". |

Hello, friends!
Today is a great day for Calcpad!
Version 7.0.0 with vectors and matrices was prereleased for testing and evaluation. It can be downloaded by the following link:
https://github.com/Proektsoftbg/CalcpadVM/releases
Calcpad current sponsors and contributors are invited to access this repository before others for testing and evaulation. Thank you all so much for your valuable support and patience! Later it will be released to general public. If anyone else also wants to get a preliminary access, please consider donating the project. Next week we will organize a webinar about the new features. I will announce and post a link when ready.
Here is also a complete plane frame analysis software, written entirely on the new Calcpad VM:
Frame.pdf
You can enter joint coordinates, elements, materials, cross sections, loads, etc. and get in result internal forces and displacements diagrams. You can see all the detailed steps on composing the stiffness matrix and load vector, solving the system of equations and calculating element forces.
