Winget install

Hello !
I have tried to install Calcpad via winget. The latest version available is 6.1.7 when the current version is 7.1.9. Would it be possible to maintain winget install officially?

Hi! I even didn't know that there is a Winget install, Where did you find it?
Probably we should ask the guy who made it.

I simply searched for it with "winget search -q calcpad". However it seems to be the package has been removed by now. I do not find it any more.

I was just running into a similar issue where I was googling how to do something in calcpad and realised I had a outdated version 6.1.7 when version 7.3.5 is out.
Couldn't figure out how to update so I submitted a pull request (microsoft/winget-pkgs#289052) to add calcpad to winget.
Would be great if pushing a new version to winget would be a part of the version release workflow.
Then people with something like unigetui or winget-auto-update would always have the latest version and there would be no need to program an update workflow into the program since the package manager can take care of keeping the software up to date.

You're welcome, yeah check it out, I usually make new entries with the wingetcreate tool. Though I have never added an update to winget, only new packages. But it should be simple with the update command https://github.com/microsoft/winget-create/blob/main/doc/update.md.
I don't expect I'll be using winget as of sometime in the next few months as Microsoft is dropping support for windows 10 but my computer is fine so I'll switch to something else. Good luck :)
