Returning vector / matrix with all positive or negative values only

Hi All!

If I have a vector x_Distances = [0 ; 5 ; 10; 15; 20; 25], and I subtract say 12 from each entry,
then say: x_Distances - x = [-12; -7; -2; 3; 8; 13]
how do I return the vector with only positive values and the rest 0, say [0; 0; 0; 3; 8; 13]
or only negative values and the rest zero, say [-12; -7; -2; 0 0; 0]

If I use the min and max functions it only returns the maximum or minimum values in te vector.
Maybe I am using it incorrectly.

I would like to do it with a single match operation of some logic that I can imbed in a function.

Any ideas?

Basically verctor true/false (1/0) multiplied by the original vector. Great!
