seems that in 2001 for one of the fanfairs a guild won and got a reward via this, as well as during GM events you could exchange with these NPCs to get randomly rewards? deity doesn't seem to apply which item you get.

24061, 24063 to 24068 are unknown and possibly no rent coin items never reported?

It seems that coins (Coin of Tranquility unconfirmed but in the 240** range, Coin of Gallantry confirmed but no in eq item db) was given out by GMs, and could be given to various NPCs (I'm guessing the ones listed here) to get a random reward (the item IDs seem to be in a range, so, i'll assume it's randomly picked).

Each Coin represents a class. I helped defeat the Faceless in Lfay with Firiona Vie. Both the Faceless and Firiona Vie were GMs. Usually 5 coins are given out at these events, 4 people are used in any rights or rituals associated with the event, and one is randomly given out to a worthy player who proves him or herself worty. I was chosen as the 5th because of my "bard skills" was playing a Paly at the time but in the down time I was giving a verbal reinactment of the battle between Firiona Vie and Lanys the Daughter of Hate during the great battle in which Sir Jevik lost his life. My reward was the Coin of Gallantry, turned into Lord Nethryn and was rewarded with Sir Jeviks Blessed Cape. I've seen some nice rings from these events, a necklace for casters that allows perminant breathing underwater, a haste sash, and some very minor items such as an amulet that is 1ac and 100 manna.

I'm not sure what events the coins are rewarded at other than the Tunare Event in Lesser Fay, of which I was present at and a part of. On the server I currently play on, there were only 4 people that were rewarded coins. Myself being one of them, I recieved from Lord Nethryn a mask, The Face Mask of Bumblok (itemid: 24046): magic/no drop. 2AC, +4 WIS, +50 Mana, +10 SVF/C, DRU, SHM, CLR/ALL. This was about 2 years ago (200), so I'm not sure what the stats on the other items rewarded were, though I seem to recall a sash and a sword given, I can't remember what the other item was. Well, I hope this clarifies what Lord Nethryn of Felwithe's purpose is.

at the time and witnessed the happenings. She paid her respects to Firiona and afterwards was summoned to here. She commended me on my spirit and etc, and handed me a coin. I no longer remember what the coin was called. But I turned it in to Lord Nethryn, as Firiona advised me to and I recieved a:

The coin is no rent so you can't just save it
until you ding 60 and get something better than ToV stuff but one lvl 30-35 item I saw for a caster was a belt ac1 +10str +10int +10wis. So I guess if you're lucky and high enough you'll get some pretty good stuff from them. And it doesn't matter who you turn it into, if you get one the GM will probably give you a hint about the closest one but just find one an give it to them quick.

he Warrens resulted in the GM character giving the person a No Rent coin to give to the Realm of Hero's person nearby (Rewarded the coin near the NPC so small risk of LD). The person on my server recieved an AC 9 HP 10 Mana 10 Viel 'An Impenetrable Mask of Al'Kabor'.

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Dis a long story but I like tellin it cuz it about me. Trolls is gud cooks but youse need da right ingredients to make da really gud stuff. Meez always liked da taste of dem [high elves] da best so meez went to where day live over on Fawdwer. Sometimes day hard to catch and day get away. Den day bring back dair friends and try to git you and dats bad.

You say, 'What high elves?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Uh-huh. Day taste da best all right. Tink it is cuz day eat so many vegetables and stuff. Makes dem taste kinda like a rabbit. Soes anyway, meez saw one alone one day so meez run it down and kills it good. But it weren't a high elf. It wuz really one of dem dark elves dat had a [ring] dat made him look like one of dem udder elves. I ates him anyway but he wuz kinda stringy.

You say, 'what ring?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Yup. Soes meez gots dis ring and I can use it ta look like one of dem high elves. Meez thought it wuz a good way to git dem. Soes I walk around in dair villages and stuff for a while and thought about all dem tasty elves. But meez had a [problem]. Even though I could get close to dem lookin like day do, day wouldn't follow me away from dair towns soes I could eat them.

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Da problem is dat dose elves talk in a funny accent. Day would look at me funny when I talks to dem. Soes this is what meez do. I looked fer one of da smart ones ta leave from his shop one night and I caught him but didn't eat him. I took him back to da [cave] I was stayin in. I kept da ring on still but meez told him I wanted him to learn me to talk like da other elves. After learnin me dat, meez said I'd would let him go.

You say, 'What cave?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Soes he learn me ta talk like da elves do. Took a few months but I learned it. I figgered it was worth all da effort since meez would have all da high elf meat meez could want after dat. After meez tink he did a good job at teachin me to talk like da udder elves, meez ate him. Want meez ta [show you how] dose elves talk over dair?

You say, 'Show me how'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Day go like dis. . . 'How are you gentleman!!! It is a fine day today you must agree. Would you care to have a look at my wares? Perhaps you would be interested in purchasing one of my savory meat pies.' Day are stoopid like dat. Meez could say enough tings like dem dat day weren't no longer scared. Soes [what I did next] wuz what started meez on da path dat urned me da favor of Cazic-Thule.

You say, 'What did you next?'

Rasrok the Blotched laughs maniacally and says, ''After meez ate dat elf what learned me to talk funny like dem, meez went to his house and took da stuff he didn't need. Meez yoozed da money ta buy a small [shop near Kelethin]. Meez sold stuff in da day and at night meez went after da high elves. Day were easy ta catch at night cuz dair is less people around and day was drunk lots of times.''

You say, 'What shop near kelethin?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Meez made a lot of money in dat little shop sellin da meat pies I made outta all da elves. Udders like da humies and dorfs started ta come to meez shop ta buy da meat pies too. Everybody loved da meat pies and thought day was good. So many peeples wer commin ta meez shop dat I had ta [step up production]. Troll cookin is da best cookin, course day thought I was a high elf.

You say, 'What step up production?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Yeah. Meez needed lots more meat soes I could fills all da orders. Pretty soon though, peeples started ta notice all da missing elves and started getting worried. Da streets of Felwithe started lookin kinda empty actually. Da stoopid elves thought it was vampires from Castle Mistmoore dat was taken peeple. Anyways, meez had ta lower da standards and started mixin in some wood elf and even humie and dorf once in a while. But it [still wasn't enough].

You say, 'Why not still enough?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Usually meez go out and get da fresh meat I needed fer da pies but I came up with a better idea. Meez stay open late and let da meat come to me! Dat way meez need to hunt less and could spend more time at da shop cookin up da pies. Dat worked good for a while. [Something bad] happened one night though.

You say, 'What something bad?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'It was late in da night and dis dorf came stumblin into da shop. He was real drunk and I thoughts he might add a tangy zip to da pies with all da liquor in em. Soes when he turns around I swung meez cleaver to take his ugly head off but it broke when it hit sumthin hard around dis dorf's neck. Come to find out da dorf has dis [big iron collar] around his neck. Of course, he starts screaming like a dorf.

You say, 'What big iron collar?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Yeah. Some stoopid peeple dat thought it was vampires started wearin deese big iron collars around dair necks at night to keep from bein bit. So I gots dis dorf bellowing all loud soes I put my hand over his head and tries to smother him. Dem dorfs are pretty tough. He bit meez finger clean off. Turn out ta be da finger dat had da ring on it. So now da dorf knows meez am a troll and he start yellin even louder. Den meez started hearin [voices coming] toward da shop.

You say, 'What voices coming'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Da dorf attracted a lot of attention with all his yellin. A pretty big crowd showed up so meez started runnin. Since day no like da trolls, day was pretty mad. I got away ok but all dem wizards and druids and magicians day got over dair burnt me up pretty good. Dats why I have all deese nice blotchy scars. [What happened next] was the best part. Cazic-Thule was really happy.

You say, 'What happened next?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Meez was pretty popular before day knew dat meez was a troll. Everyone in Faydwer knew about da pies I made and most of dem peeples dair liked da meat pies a lot. But when day searched da shop after meez ran away, day found all da heads of da peeples dat turned up missin. Dats when day finally realized dat da missin peeple were in da pies day all liked. Dis is da [fun] part dat really got Cazic-Thules attention.

You say, 'What fun?'

Rasrok the Blotched laughs and says, ''When day all found out dat day had been eatin dair friends all dis time word spread real fast. Peeples all over was hor-ee-fide. Some didn't sleep for weeks and many refused to eat for a long time. Dem elves live a long time and dose dat still remember still have nightmares about it and are still scared to eat. All dis fear I caused made Cazic-Thule really happy so he took me from dis plane. And still my [legend] is told quietly by some of dem elves.''

You say, 'What legend?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Oh yeah. Day tell dair little elves if day ain't gud, Rosrak will come bake dem into a pie and eat dem. Some tink dat dis is only a legend told ta scare peeples. But whether day knows it's true or not, day still feed Cazic Thule with da fear caused by dat story. Heh. Meez not know what da big deal is with eatin a good pie but elves and dose udders peeples are pretty stoopid ta start with.

You say, 'What realm of heroes?'

Rasrok the Blotched says 'Yeah dat iz where meez from. Well. . . First meez wuz from here den meez wuz from dair and now meez back here agin. When peeples from here do sumthin heero-ick sumtimes day get a coin fer dair deeds. Youse give me one of dem coins and meez give you sumthin good dat wurthy for a hee-ro. Maybe youse get a trip to da Realm of Heroes yerself sum day.

Kizrak the Tyrant says 'Are you as deaf as your are ugly? I had stated before what my purpose here is, and I will not repeat myself. You apparently know nothing of [Kizrak the Tyrant], nor of my glorious victories and domination among the heroes.

Kizrak the Tyrant sniffs once, his eyes blaring with impatience as he drums his large fingers on the hilt of the sword at his side. ''I am Kizrak the Tyrant, mighty warrior of Zek, and now champion of The Warlord. Once I brought fear and destruction to any whom would stand in the path of the Ogre nation, but now, [they are all sniveling fools] who cannot find their backside with both of their hands.''

Kizrak the Tyrant says 'The ogres, of course! I am not even sure if that is such a fitting name of these monstrous, fleshy bags of stupidity. Before the curse of Zek, the Ogres were the strongest of the gods' creations upon Norrath. I am a product of our greatest years of glory, and it was then that I ascended to take my place within the [Realm of Heroes]. I am sure that my lack of third person speech had confused you a bit as to my origins.

Kizrak the Tyrant says 'I led a mighty army for several decades beneath the powers of war. My deeds were recognized by The Warlord himself, and in return for my strengthening of his name in battle, I was chosen to walk the Realm of Heroes. Now, I find that I have returned to a nation of slobbering buffoons who have allied with the Teir`Dal of all creatures. It is almost painful to be subjected to the witnessing of it, but, as The [Warlord] commands, it shall be done.

You say, 'what does the warlord command'
Kizrak the Tyrant says 'My purpose, fool! My purpose is The Warlord's command! I grow tired of you. Bring forth the coin, if of course any god would be so out of their right mind as to bestow such honor to a creature as filthy and devoid of intelligence as yourself, or leave me be before I find a much more painful route to deliver you to the hand of your god.

After roleplaying in a Skyfire event I recieved a coin which I handed it in to this guy and got a Girdle of Mind and Body, +10 INT +10 WIS +10 STR +10 SV FIRE +7 AC 5 wt Belt slot :) very nice.

OK through what i have found out looken at al the post's that is that this is or was a GM event that has already taken place i dont know when it has happend so if u do know plz post it in a reply or send me an email at PBAZSteve@aol.com Then event was the start of the plague brigners plague. you will find out more info on what happen if u ask a investegator thats in the guard watch place at the entrance to north qeynos(if u ask the investagator about the stuff it is a qest to get a badg) anyway when the event started several thing happen i dont want to go over them all so look on the post's your self. every time an event was completed a coin was given to the person who gave it to Jaylia the Faithful in north qeynos. and they recived a item that was ment for there class every item is diffrent. All this is the basic jummbel that i have found out so far ill post more info soon as i find out.

Hello, sit back and here my tell, it is sad as well as couragous. One day i was walking though the the Hils Qeynos and i came apon what looked like a brave and noble paladin name Azibell, she was asking any one who would help to get her some items for a very important quest that she must complete that day. I being a ranger of gallant stock and all ways welling to help those in need stopped to see if i could be of assistance. she told me what she needed and i ran to where a knew i could find one of the items, a putrid rib bone at the ruins. As soon as i looted the bone she sent out a shout for all who were helping her to come to the entance of BB. upon arrival there she asked what was now three of us to give her the items., And we did, then she smiled evilly at us and said "Oh yes this wll do nicely, i must mix them together to make the Jar of Putrescence", or something like that. All i know is that at this point i was starting to get worried. She mixed the items and the sky darkened and the birds fell silent and a storm begain. And then she stated that we had done well and the her lord bertoxxulous would be pleased, and asked one of us to take the jar to NK and give it to a person name Meldreth the Malignant, we only had two hours to do this or he would be gone, So i gave each of us spirt of the wolf and she said "STOP you can not cast any more magic on your selfs or it would destory the jars contents. Know go, hurry Please". As we ran i knew the name sounded familiar and i was sure i had fought against such a person some where near Ak'Anon, but i did not realize what we where about to do.
We arrived in NK at the wizard spires after non eventful run from Qenyos Hills and there standing in black holding a staff with a skull on it was Meldreth. The one holding the jar hailed him and he asked if we had some thing for him and she said "yes". Sorry i do not remeber her name or that of the monk we were with, the horror of what we have done has driven it out of my mind. She gave Meldreth the jar and he said "Oh this is nice, you all have done very well, bertoxxulous will be very pleased with the plague this will creat upon this land". At that point i still was not sure what had just happend. Then he cast a spell and the area grew very quite. It was then that my heart sank for i knew i had just helped do some thing very evil to the land. I looked around trying to find some escape from what i had just done, but there was none. Then Meldreth stated that we are to be rewarded and gave each of us a Coin of Gallantry and told us to take it to the the Faithful one in Qeynos. and then he cast a spell and exploded right in front of us and was gone.
We took the coins to the one in Qenyos and she did reward us very well, but at what cost. I received a Azibell scarf of the night. AC 8 30hp save +10 vs all saves. and was told that i was now a member of the Realm Of Heros!
The next day as i went in to the karana's they where plagued with the a three fold curse. I was very sad for i knew i had helped to make this happend.
However i do believe that there is a way to cure the plague and am attempting to do that now. To right the wrong i have done! if you have any information on this please post it here and maybe just maybe we mortals can undo what the gods have done to are beloved Karanas!

It started in the Qeynos hills, a lady (Azibell) asked for diseased pelts and the like, people brought her some and she paid handsomly (I heard 20pps!!). When she had enough, she put them in a jar to send to a gnome, Meldrath the Malignent in North Karana. She gave the jar and I accompanied the bearer, he gave it and we received coins in returns that we had to give to Jaylia the Faithful. The funny thing is the quest is EVIL, once Meldrath got the jar, he was cackling at how the world would suffer. Anyhow, the party brought the coins to Jaylia and for it we got rewarded handsomely (Except for the one guy who did not get a coin, he got 448 pps instead, a very lovely reward as well). I received the Girdle of Mind and Body, AC 7, 10 str, 10 wis, 10 int and 10 fire resistance. The jar bearer received a level and also an earring of 2 ac, 10 int and 20 mana. One got a pair of shouldpads with good ac and 10 str I think while the other got a mask and one got a ice giant bone or something like that to use as a club (unless he got a mask as well, I am unsure). With that, we were all named to the Realm of Heroes!
