BinderHub icon no longer available in our cookbooks

The BinderHub Rocket icon no longer appears in any of the cookbooks I've tried to run via Binder. For example, check out the CESM LENS cookbook.

I've tried this with both Chrome and Safari browsers.

Is anyone else having trouble?

Hmm I don't see the same issue. The rocket icon is there, and working normally. I'm using Safari browser:

Seems to be working fine for me now with both Safari and Chrome. Upgrading my OS on Friday, rebooting over the weekend, who knows?

However, some minor revisions to the template for the first chapter of our cookbooks might be warranted. Regarding Binder the documentation states:

Simply navigate your mouse to the top right corner of the book chapter you are viewing and click on the rocket ship icon, (see figure below),...

There is no figure below that I can see. Maybe it's just me again :-).

A minor nit: it may be confusing that there is no binder icon at the top of the page for the first chapter. I'm not sure it is clear to the reader that the first chapter isn't an executable book. Maybe rephrasing the text to same something like: for Jupyter Book chapters that are executable via Binder, an icon will appear...

The visuals changed as a result of the sphinx theme update. I think we are basically treading water until the MyST transition, at which point we will need new guidance with updated screenshots. A minor text tweak for clarification in the mean time could be helpful.
