Constant freezes on Ubuntu 24.04

Hi guys

The Linux client is causing my Ubuntu 24.04 system to freeze. It's random - sometimes it'll happen after 10-20 minutes, sometimes after an hour or so. I need to do a hard reset to recover.

It's definitely the client, as it only happens when it's running.

I've been experiencing this on two of my laptops when they run low on storage space, I always assumed it was related to btrfs. How many GB do you have free?

I’ve got around 100gb free, so unfortunately something else seems to be causing it.

After it freezes, could you check system monitor (or your DE's equivalent) to look for spikes in the ProtonVPN process's resource usage?
