Option for monochrome tray icon

Almost all of the tray icons on my system are monochrome except Proton VPN, making it look out of place. An option for a monochrome version of it would be great.

It would be even better if, instead of having the tray icons hardcoded, they were made to follow the system theme. For instance, the Papirus icon theme already includes monochrome/symbolic tray icons for Proton VPN (github.com/PapirusDevelopmentTeam/papirus-icon-theme/issues/3052). One use to be able to enforce these with the Hardcode-Tray script (github.com/bilelmoussaoui/Hardcode-Tray), but it hasn't been updated in years and no longer works on modern distros. Having monochrome tray icons would already be better, but having them fit with the rest of the theme would be ideal in my opinion.
