I play on ps4 and want to use the browser normaly but sites like Google.com doesnt work

Could you provide details on what you are seeing, what error? Does this only occur when changing the DNS for BedrockConnect?

If you are using the DNS method, make sure you are setting your secondary DNS to 8.8.8.8, or another well known DNS like one of these:

• 1.1.1.1
• 1.0.0.1
• 8.8.4.4

If the issue continues, I don't think there's much we can do as this seems like a quirk with the game console itself. May just need to temporarily switch the DNS back to automatic if you want to use the browser.

Got it, and I'm assuming the issue doesn't occur when the DNS is set back to 'Automatic'?

I faced the similar issue on PS5 when was using self-hosted BedrockConnect.

My setup is the following:

• Ubuntu laptop
  • Local server host
  • BedrockConnect host (started with docker-compose that includes bind9 for DNS resolution)
• PS5
  • Primary DNS matches Ubuntu laptop IP
  • Secondary DNS is 8.8.8.8

The issues I faced:

• Minecraft showed something like "online features are unavailable" and empty servers list
  • NOTE: Authentication with Microsoft was successful that added to confusion
• When I start Minecraft before BedrockConnect I was able to see server list and even connect to BedrockConnect and then to my local server, but some time after PS5 decided that I have no internet
• Browser issues similar to described in the original post

The workaround for me was to change DNS resolution configuration to be recursive.

I think the issue is that some internal PS5 code has troubles when primary DNS rejects the request the internet connection is assumed to be broken and we have these troubles.
