Settings are sometimes lost after restart

Using libcec-7.1.1 on Windows 11.
I've noticed that occasionally settings will be lost and will default to the starting ones.
Example:
I change the HDMI port of the tv to HDMI 2
OR
Override physical address to 2000

At some point all of this gets lost, and default value of HDMI 1 gets set to HDMI port of the tv.

This was happening with previous versions of libcec as well.

Hi @malard!
I've figured out when this is happening.
When the program is forcefully closed, for example due to a power loss.
Next time the program starts it reverts to default values (like hdmi 1) which are not correct (it should be hdmi 2).
Can you please take a look?
is there a way to save settings and persist them after a power loss?
as far as I saw they are stored in the registry.
