The current projector_operator_to_subspace works for less than 129 bits, which is 129 qubits.

However, even the current IBM quantum devices have up to 156 qubits with which this function cannot work. For the record, there is a different framework that is due to be released at the end of the month (January) that will handle arbitrary numbers of qubits.
