Roadmap, help needed #1115

Description

@felix-salfelder

Not an issue, but a problem specification. People still use commercial tools for Verilog-A and Verilog-AMS modelling and simulation.

Still, some designers thankfully share device models under free licenses. See e.g. here or here, in addition to the semiconductor folks at CMC

With financial support from NLnet, Gnucap is getting to the point where all these models are supported, providing a first (reasonable) free Verilog-A implementation, with quickly growing -AMS coverage. But we also need a schematic editor that supports Verilog-A and -AMS.
Since recently, Qucs supports Verilog based schematics for sharing circuits with a suitable simulator.

Right now, we have funding to carry on the work. We are looking for a maintainer or developer to add some missing features and ramp up the user experience, see ROAMAP for details.

Please share this issue with enthusiasts or hobbyists ready for a new challenge.
