iOS fatal error

For me it was happening after i migrated to the UI Cycle, but after upgrading to flutter_contacts pre release version then the error gone

Hello @subzero911 and thank you for reporting this!

This happens because v1.1.9 defined FlutterContactsPlugin as an Objective-C class (via FlutterContactsPlugin.h / .m) that delegated to SwiftFlutterContactsPlugin, while v2.0.0-beta defines it directly in Swift. When upgrading, cached build artifacts from the old version still contain the ObjC definition, so Xcode sees two conflicting definitions of the same class: one from the old ObjC header and one from the new Swift-generated header.

The fix is to purge all cached artifacts from the previous version:

flutter clean
rm -rf ios/Pods ios/Podfile.lock ios/.symlinks
rm -rf ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData
cd ios && pod cache clean flutter_contacts --all && pod install --repo-update

Then rebuild. This is a one-time issue when upgrading from 1.x to 2.x.

@usama-sherazi -- this error seems to be related to contacts_service which is a different plugin from flutter_contacts.
