Would it be smart to pull this test case into our repository and modify it to run locally? (I guess it is trivial to run it from the command line.) Is it somehow possible to get these tests running on Travis? (Does it support a mix of Perl and Python, can one open a port or a socket?)
I just found this: https://github.com/kasei/sparql11-protocolvalidator
It runs as a service here: http://www.w3.org/2009/sparql/protocol_validator
