Should we sunset the Wiki? #22265

Description

@crasbe

Our wiki is becoming severely outdated and documentation rot is happening.

While there are still some gems of information (such as the OpenOCD guide that was/is being recovered by #22257, but essentially got a 50% cleanup/rewrite), a lot of the pages have just become irrelevant such as lists of open PRs for a Release that happened 7 years ago, Task Forces of people who aren't active in the community anymore.

Similar discussions previously arose in #20332 and #21249, but back then the Guide Site did not exist yet.

My personal opinion is that the Wiki is in a state where I wouldn't tell my students to go look there for information because either they won't find what they need or it'll be outdated and not applicable anymore :/

Below you find a list of all pages. I haven't gone through all of them, but for some I've given details and my opinion on what to do with them.
