Quick summary

I've been trying to get the emulator to work but it keeps closing when I try to install the ps3 firmware. First it loads up to 100% and I get the "Successfully installed PS3 firmware and LLE Modules!", but when I click OK, instead of compiling PPU modules as I've seen on tutorials, rpcs3 just closes, same happens when I try to boot a game or do pretty much anything within the software. I've tried running it as admin, disabling antivirus, etc. Don´t know what to do :(

The same happened to me. I updated it to a newer version (with firmware 4.89) and now it won't open my games :(
A few weeks ago it was working fine, but after the update the rpcs3 emulator closes when I open a game or install the firmware.
I tried with an old version of rpcs3 and both the installation of firmware 4.89 and the games work. something is wrong with the current version (0.0.23) :/
PS: I also have an AMD Ryzen 5 2600. Is it a coincidence?

Yeah you're right, I just tried an older version (0.0.22) and it works.
