[Regression] Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational crash (#13840)

While loading to the Mar Celio course, the emulator have a CTD.

During the loading screen of the Mar Celio course, the emulator have always a CTD. It's closing itself and there is no error it seems in the log. I tried on 2 versions of the game. The US version (NPUA80864) and Asia version (BCAS20276) have the same problem.

I tried with the patches (1.03 version) and without (1.00, 1.01, 1.02). Vulkan and OpenGL doesn't change anything. I did tried different options in the configuration as well (basic ones I found online) but no results.

I'm here to add some informations. I was able to load this course (the Mar Ciello one) on a previous build of the emulator (the 0.0.18.12970-e31173e3) so I guess it's a regression. It works on both Everybody's Golf™ 6 [BCAS20276] and Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational [NPUA80864]. I did try some newer version (0.0.28 and 0.0.29) and it didn't work on those. I can't say from which version the regression is.

You can try to launch the challenge 3-4. This is one of the Mar Celio one.

I think it doesn't like some of the file paths that the game tries to load.
This would come next in the log file when it crashes:

You could try to disable logging in the settings. Maybe it's a bug in the log system.

Do the files (or files that look similar) exist in your game's USRDIR?

So I tried to disable the logs and no luck so far sadly. It's weird it's working for you on the last version and just on the 0.0.18 for me...

I looked in the files and I don't have all this in the data directory but in the de xbdata directory. So it's not the .dds files like in the log but .xb files.

Since it's a regression, we need to know what build introduced the issue.

Checked on my machine. v0.0.28-15120 is the last version that loads the course, with v0.0.28-15124 being the one that can't.
