That's not how Carpentries website's work.

You use the template of either:

• https://github.com/carpentries/workbench-template-md
• https://github.com/carpentries/workbench-template-rmd

Then you just need to update config.yaml in that repo with the two lines as described here in README.md.

Feel free to update the README if you think that's not clear enough, I just made minimal changes to the existing README.
