Hi developers,

I find that when I am reading an English post, if I enable auto AI translation (from English to Chinese) and then click reading mode, it always fails to display the article content, either the original or the translation. However. If I disable the translation, the problem resolves. For Chinese articles, this will not happen either. So I think something could be happening between fetching the translated results and displaying them on the screen.

This bug happens in all my browsers (Firefox and Chrome) and in the app on all my devices in Linux, Windows, and Mac, except on the app on my iPhone.

Auto Translation support is an important feature for me when using Folo. Hope you can take care of it. Please let me know if you need any more information.

Thanks for the detailed report. I found the issue in the desktop/web article renderer: reading mode already resolved the correct content, but the renderer could still override it with the normal entry-content translation when auto translation was enabled.

I pushed a fix to dev in 84f692ad3. The renderer now keeps the resolved reading-mode content, so translated entry content should no longer hide the readability article body. I also added a regression test for this case.

This should be included in a future release. If you can still reproduce it after updating to a build that includes this commit, please let us know with another affected entry ID.
