Not all historical data available

Hello,

I was comparing the data available from the API, to the data available in the extract provided here. There appears to be trending branch information (number of branches per institution) in the zip extract, but not in the API. I am wondering why this wasn't included in the API, as well as what other data elements have been omitted?

Thank you for the feedback! In the API, as part of the indexing process, a number of fields are used to generate a 'school-level' record. These fields are extracted from the most recent data file, and I believe branch campus information is part of this process. If you consult the data dictionary and filter on a dev-category of "school," you will find a list of other fields likely subject to this. I suspect it was built this way to ensure the most up-to-date school information is always available from the API. I have captured your request to potentially have this historical data included and I will add it to a list of possible enhancements for consideration going forward.
