Mehr Guard's PhishingEngine is designed for real-time scanning with sub-5ms latency. This document provides reproducible benchmarks and explains the difference between engine time and end-to-end UI time.

The camera capture loop runs at ~30 FPS (33ms per frame). To not drop frames:
- Frame decode: ~10ms
- Engine analysis: <5ms ✅
- Decision display: ~15ms
- Total: <30ms → No dropped frames
The game requires instant feedback:
- User clicks button
- Engine analyzes: <5ms ✅
- Brain visualizer updates: ~10ms
- Total: <15ms → Feels instant
- JIT compilation provides best sustained performance
- First few calls may be slower (JIT warming)
- P99 <5ms after warm-up
