Unlimited (20+ GB) Memory consumption

using this target I get 20+ GB memory consumption and countless .NET Host processes, this never ends (until PC finally hangs)

What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem with .NET 10. Building project with NSwag.MSBuild starts to spawn infinite amount of .NET Host processes. Tried downgrading all the way to 14.5.0 which does not support .NET 10 and all other versions seem to have this problem.

If I run build from Rider IDE processes can't event be killed properly, running build from dotnet CLI at least allows me to stop the build and processes end.

I think I found "solution" to this. In your nswag.json file:

"documentGenerator": {
    "aspNetCoreToOpenApi": {
      "project": "YOUR_PROJECT.csproj",
      "noBuild": true, //this needs to be set to true to avoid infinite build loop
      .... // other properties
  }
}

After that my build succeeds and client is generated.

Yes no build otherwise you get infinite loop, not new in .net 10 but since like forever
