How to get messages from a "team" via REST API?

Hi,

My use case requires being able to read the messages being posted (and also historic messages) in a RocketChat team. Looking at the API documentation for Teams, I don't see any endpoint which could do this. I have already tried the related endpoints in Channel and Group, but those (expectedly) don't work with a teamName or teamId.

Is there an easy way or a workaround through which I could retrieve all the messages from a team I'm a member of?

I don't think so there is any reliable way to do that on Rocket.Chat directy. All though Rocket.Chat is working towards something called the Activity Hub which will be implemented in later versions.

Meanwhile, you can try exporting your workspace and manipulating data u got as json with a python code file. Follow below link for the user guide for downloading your user data,
