Description
Non text character in depth column of data file
This is present in
- dwer swancatch
- murhar
The depth is displayed as a null char in vs code, but thats only after specifically selecting the file as text, because it wont open it by default.

I was able to open the matfile in dwer holding called swan.mat and i have found this variable and site and it appears normal. the depth is all 0's which shouldnt give nulls..
To verify I opened the matfile of a datafile that DID work and it had all zeros. So all zeros is not causing the issue.
DWER CSMWQ light attenuation
Mat has asked me to use the "scaling factor" or the "Conv" part of the agency tab in the variable key excel spreadsheet to mulitply the light attenuation variable by 2.3.
I could not find the DWER sheet that the code uses, it is not obvious to me where the dwer code reads in the varkey.
