Error when scrobbling artists with "by" in their name from Apple Music #165
Description
When trying to scrobble from Apple Music, artists whose name include the word "by" will not scrobble with the Scrubbler. Instead this error appears as a current status: "Error while getting Apple Music info: Error parsing song album artist: Index was outside of the bounds of the array."
Artists that are affected include: Guided by Voices, Murder by Death, Trampled by Turtles, And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, Drive-By Truckers (even with the dash in their name), and Pulled Apart by Horses. This does not affect song titles with the word "by" or album titles with "by". It is just artists.
I think either the Scrubbler app or Apple Music is seeing "by" as a separation between the artist and the song title, even when "by" is part of the artist name.
Manual scrobbling of these artists does work, as does database scrobbling, but for whatever reason they will not scrobble from Apple.
