FDL should be a reference I think

Is a camera trading a UUID as handle in live context? Sounds wrong. There is a UUID for validation purposes in the FDL yes but... the value to anchor to is the FramingDecision Id inside the FDL.

FDL external referencing: given more thoughts -

1. URL: (ftp..., http..,(ile...) - file reference, not clear yet how it works for a dynamic via API link or if FDL is embedded in some camera recorded file

2. Framing Decision ID: In an ALE/NLE type table, there is a specific Framing Decision within the file that is tied to a clip. A framing decision compounds (is in reference to a particular context/canvas) and you can have two for same canvas (one canvas each time you mint a fileOut - image sequence).

3. UUID: For validation/integrity, IDs within the FDL are unique within file. We added a global UUID for a variety or reasons, some apps have specific no-overwrite methodology to preserve chain of custody, so a passthrough op would just swap the UUID. Right now when merging two FDL, one has to check for duplicated UID.

4. Note it should be possible to create a context that has all the recording format of a given camera (each a canvas) and a particular clip then reference the actually recorded format as source canvas.
