parsing any RDF format?

Hi,

I tried to parse the DCAT-AP rdf description but the RDF parser failed on it.
It only loaded some triples.
After cannonicalizing the RDF/XML using rapper, the complete data was loaded.

Is this normal behaviour? Documented somewhere?
Also is there support for parsing other RDF formats?
