I’ve just installed F5-TTS. I then tried using models in other languages.

Is there a way to add buttons for other models, or to make the downloaded models a permanent fixture in the drop-down menu?

The current local Gradio app already has a Custom model option. Select it, then enter the checkpoint and vocabulary as either local paths or hf://user/repo/file paths, plus the matching model config. The app writes those three values to infer/.cache/last_used_custom_model_info_v1.txt and restores them after a refresh or restart.

That cache only remembers the last custom model. There is no multi-model registry in the current UI, so several downloaded language models will not automatically become permanent entries in the selector. For that, you need a small UI change in infer_gradio.py: define named profiles containing the checkpoint, vocabulary, and architecture config, expose the profile names in the model selector, and pass all three values to set_custom_model(). Do not add only the checkpoint path; language-specific checkpoints may require a different vocabulary or architecture config.

Of course, I already knew this. As shown in the attached image. However, this becomes a problem when you have multiple models. The cache only stores the address of one model.
