Why are you interested in joining the Safety Critical Rust Consortium?
For over 15 years, I have engineered autonomous systems for aerospace, defense, and medical applications. I mainly designed and delivered POCs that were later industrialized by production teams. My exposure to safety-critical standards is limited, but this is now my focus.
I want to deepen my expertise in critical software through the Safety Critical Rust Consortium and contribute to the Rust ecosystem. I am currently focusing on rustc, Clippy, and lint infrastructure, with the goal of making incremental contributions.
Long term, I aim to work at the intersection of Rust and safety-critical systems, both through tooling (compiler, lints, IDE support) and by supporting teams with training in critical software under ISO 26262, robotic perception, and sensor fusion.
Do you plan to be a producer or observer in the consortium?
