Automate new studies to schema

The steps to add a new PEC study are manual - speak to a contributor and then make a top level folder in the public project. Contributors need their study to be an accepted key in our schema when they go to validate data. Would it make sense to write a script that looks for new studies and adds them to the schema when a schema update is pushed?
