[BUG] - Error during login - Invalid channel_id

I have a very barebones copy of the PWA kit that a colleague cloned. I set it up on my local machine, and I am getting the following error when I try logging in.

In the code I noticed the channel_id is being passed the SiteId, and from a data perspective it looks correct.

Is there a known issue around this? Any documentation about the channel_id? I've searched through documentation and can't find anything about what the value should be, or any information about configuring it in SFCC.

This error looks like a SLAS configuration error – can you double check your SLAS client configuration?

SLAS clients have a concept called channels. It is used to filter which Demandware Sites (eg. RefArch|RefArchGlobal) are allowed to use a particular SLAS client:

I've got a PR out to add SLAS support to sfcc-ci (SalesforceCommerceCloud/sfcc-ci#282). Until then, you can use this mini node SLAS CLI to checkout your SLAS client config:

In particular, you want to verify that the DW Site ID being sent to SLAS (channel_id) is present in your SLAS client's channels attribute.

That was the issue. We needed to configure a new channel to match our siteId.
